Situs Engineering uses our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) expertise to analyze and solve problems related to the behavior of fluid flow, heat transfer, and related phenomena. We use SolidWorks Flow, a powerful tool for simulating and understanding how fluids (both liquids and gases) interact with surfaces, objects, and each other.
CFD allows us to simulate and visualize how fluids move and behave within and around complex geometries. This includes the study of fluid velocity and trajectory, aerodynamics, pressure distribution, turbulence, temperature distribution, and other flow properties. Using CFD we can also model heat transfer mechanisms such as conduction, convection, and radiation to better understand temperature distributions within your system and optimize thermal performance.
